Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Constellation Trail (“we,” “us”) operates constellationtrail.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we use it only to send you what you asked for, and we never sell it.

What we collect

Email signup. When you subscribe for free lessons, we collect your first name (optional) and email address. That’s it — no accounts, no passwords.

Purchases. When you buy a unit, your card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor, and never touch our servers. We keep your name, email, and order history so we can deliver your download and support your purchase.

Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

Your name and email are used for one thing: sending you the lessons and occasional launch announcements you signed up for. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing is immediate and final.

Who else touches your data

Three service providers process data on our behalf: our web host (Hostinger), which stores the site and its subscriber list; our email delivery service (MailerLite), which sends the lessons to your inbox; and our payment processor (Stripe), which securely handles your card payment when you buy a unit. Each is bound by its own privacy commitments. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with anyone else — no advertisers, no data brokers, no “partners.”

Cookies and tracking

This site uses only the minimal cookies needed for it to function (such as page caching). We run no advertising trackers. For visit counts we use a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool (Umami) running on our own server: it sets no cookies, stores no personal identifiers, and shares nothing with any third party.

Children

Constellation Trail’s materials are written for parents and educators. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Lessons are meant to be shared with your kids by you — their information never needs to reach us, and we ask that it doesn’t.

We follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). This site offers no accounts or logins, and the only personal information it accepts — a first name and email address on the subscription form — is intended to come from adults. If we ever add features that track a child’s lesson progress, they will be parent-managed: the account will belong to the parent, and no information about a child will be collected without a parent’s verifiable consent first. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us, email [email protected] and we will delete it promptly and confirm to you in writing.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe using the link in any email we send. If you’d like your information deleted entirely from our records, reply to any of our emails and ask — we’ll confirm when it’s done.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes affecting how your email is used will be announced by email before they take effect.
