Membership
- A membership gives one household access to the member library (the lessons, units and PDF tools listed on the membership page) for as long as it is active.
- Plans: monthly at $10 a month and yearly at $48 a year. Price shown is the total you pay. The price, billing frequency, automatic-renewal terms, cancellation method and refund policy are clearly displayed before we collect your billing information. You accept these Terms at checkout and separately consent to automatic renewal through an affirmative action (such as ticking an unchecked box). We email you a confirmation containing the renewal terms and cancellation instructions.
- Automatic renewal. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price disclosed at checkout, subject to the Price changes provision below, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. You agree to this by providing your affirmative consent at checkout.
- Reminders. Yearly members: About 30 days before each yearly renewal we email you a reminder with the amount, the renewal date and a link to cancel. We email monthly members a reminder once a year with the plan, the price and how to cancel. Stripe also emails a receipt for each payment.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe emails you with a link to update your card and tries the payment again, up to 8 times within 2 weeks. You keep access while it tries. If every try fails, the membership ends and the unpaid invoice is cancelled, so you owe nothing for the unpaid period.
- Price changes. We may change the price of a plan. A new price applies to new sign-ups straight away. For an existing membership it applies only from a renewal that comes after we email you about it: we email you 30 days before that renewal, with the new price, the date it starts and a link to cancel online. If you do not want the new price, cancel before that renewal and you will not be charged it. At checkout you choose email as your preferred method for renewal and membership-change notices, and they go to the address you joined with.
- Free lessons. Four lessons are free for everyone: Asleep in the Boat, The Good Samaritan, The Extra Ten and The Empty Seat. On October 19, 2026, fifteen lessons that had been free moved to the members’ library. If you signed up for our free lessons before that date, you keep access to all 19 lessons that were free when you signed up, through the email you signed up with. Copies of any lesson you already downloaded stay licensed to you on the terms you received them under.
- No free trials.
Cancelling
- How to cancel: online, any time, from your account page or the cancel link in our renewal reminder. No phone call, chat or email is needed. Cancel before your renewal date and you won’t be charged again; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We email you a confirmation. Can’t sign in? Request a new sign-in link on the account page. We send it by email. No reason is asked.
- When you cancel, you will not be charged again, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Files you downloaded while a member stay yours to use within your household under the license below; access to the online library ends when the membership ends.
Refunds
- Memberships: full refund within 30 days of your first payment. Renewal charges are refundable if you ask within 14 days of the charge. A full refund of the payment covering your current membership period cancels your membership and ends online library access immediately. Files already downloaded remain licensed for household use. Email hello@constellationtrail.com to ask.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and Stripe emails you a refund receipt.
License: how you may use the materials
Member materials means everything supplied through a purchase or membership, other than the 4 free lessons. Member materials are licensed for personal use by one household. Read them on any screen, and make as many copies as your household needs. Please do not resell, share, upload or post member files, or use them in a co-op, classroom, church or business; we do not offer group licenses for member materials at this time.
The 4 free lessons may be shared with another family, as the PDF or a paper copy, and used free of charge in a church, Sunday school, co-op, homeschool group or classroom, with a copy for each child or family in the group. Please keep every page whole, including the Constellation Trail name, footer and copyright notices, do not sell copies, and do not upload or post the files online; share the link to the lesson page instead. These permissions apply only to the 4 free lessons, not to member materials.
Your account and payments
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for the accuracy of your payment information.
Accuracy and changes
We work hard to make every lesson true and accurate, and correct mistakes when we find them. We may correct and update lessons. We will not materially reduce the library access included in a period you have already paid for. Material changes to these Terms apply prospectively only, after advance email notice and any consent required by law; they do not alter accrued claims or household-use rights already granted for downloaded files. Your privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy.
Ending or changing the service
If we ever discontinue the membership, we will give members at least 30 days’ notice by email and refund any unused prepaid period.
Limits
The materials are provided for general educational and character-formation purposes. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for ordinary breach-of-contract claims is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to fraud, gross negligence, reckless or willful misconduct, personal injury, refunds promised in these Terms, or liability or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to limit. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or warranties.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without limiting any consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
